HISTORY, TRADITION, INNOVATION

About Us

For over 50 years, PICCOLI S.R.L. has turned its passion for turning into technologically advanced solutions, combined with artisanal and family values.

Our Method

Advanced technologies, established expertise, and trustworthy relationships are the pillars on which our activity is founded. Every production is the result of experience, attention, and responsibility.

THE ORIGINS

From Craftsmanship to Industrial Innovation

Our roots are embedded in a family history of passion, commitment, and vision. From Franco Piccoli's intuition in the 1970s to his son Davide's entry in the early 2000s, the company has grown while remaining true to those values that only a family reality can preserve over time.
Attention to detail, care for relationships, and the desire to improve every day are the legacy that accompanies us towards the future.

THE COMPANY TODAY

Piccoli Srl - A New Beginning

Aware of the significant manufacturing reality inherited, over the years Davide Piccoli, son of Franco, after gaining experiences in other companies and participating in and visiting trade fairs across Europe, has definitively taken command of the business, determined to carry it forward and expand it, supported by his family and a close-knit group of expert collaborators, investing in new machinery and advanced technology to guarantee the best service to both new and established clientele.

Collaboration with INFN - LNL

For about 20 years, Piccoli srl has been collaborating with the Legnaro National Laboratories of the National Institute of Nuclear Physics (LNL-INFN) for the creation of "seamless" superconducting accelerator cavities.

The project, initially led by Professor Vincenzo Palmieri and now by the coordinators “Seamless_FE” and “I.FAST”, Cristian Pira and Oscar Azzolini, aims to produce elliptical cavities in copper through sheet turning, subsequently coated with thin superconducting films. This cutting-edge technology, free of welds at critical points, is essential for improving the performance of particle accelerators like CERN's LHC. In the past, Piccoli also contributed to the production of bulk niobium cavities, confirming the solid synergy with INFN.

Growing is our goal, every day.
